Meet Axel
Born and raised in the charming landscapes of New England, I pursued a BA in Mass Communications at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. My journey into the construction industry began with a pivotal role at a Toll Brothers development in Massachusetts. Fueled by a passion for "stick-built" framing, I ventured to the Outer Banks in North Carolina, where I honed my skills over seven years, constructing everything from cozy beach cottages to grand 6000-square-foot oceanfront homes.
In 2000, I relocated to Great Falls, Virginia with my future wife, working as a subcontractor while earning a Virginia Class A Builders license. Three years later, I moved to Winchester, Virginia, and in 2006, proudly established Ikon Builders, LLC, turning my vision into reality.
